Oregon Trip

Towards the end of March we took a little trip to Oregon to see family. Austin's grandpa was going to come up from Sacramento and knowing his age and our limited funds, opportunities to see him are rare. A few days before his trip he started to not feel well and decided to not come up after all, but since we had already planned the time away from Austin's work, we decided to still go. And I'm glad we did. It was jam packed with fun family adventures, a baby shower for my sister in law and we even hosted a BBQ to see all of our friends. It was lovely. The weather was beautiful all week long- one of the days was in the 70's and even our day at the coast was warm!

There's a part of me that thinks Oregon will always feel like home and I'm glad Austin agrees. Maybe we will end up at OHSU for Dental school and make our home in the suburbs of Portland. We will see though.

These pictures were taken on our last evening in Salem. It was just after sunset and we were on the way back to Austin's parents house after our day at the coast and we decided to stop by the capital to see all the Cherry Blossoms. Oh, how I love spring!
