Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

A couple weeks ago Austin, Andrew, Camille and I took Maisie and Emerson to the Wooden Shoe Tulip festival in Woodburn. It was a hot day, but so nice to get some color on our skin. Austin and I may or may not have got a little sunburned (ok we totally did..).  The tulips were past their prime, but that's what we get for waiting until the last weekend to go, but it was still worth it. 

Maisie got to go on another pony ride, but this time a boy horse named Frankie. Maisie was a little nervous this time around, but after one loop she was in heaven. She sang songs the whole time about sweet little Frankie going round and round.

We finished the festival with fresh lemonade and a cow train around the farm.

 It was a great day.
