One of the things that was on our summer bucket list was to take Maisie to her first baseball game. The closest professional team is in Seattle, but luckily not to far away from us in Keizer, there's a field team with a pretty decent stadium. What makes it better is that they are called the "Volcanoes" and that was music to Maisie's ears (the girl is obsessed with volcanoes). So last week we, grandma and Miranda included, decided to take her to her first ball game.

These boys were so cute to Maisie.
Oh, and theres Crater the Volcano's mascot. Maisie was confused of what kind of "creature" he was, but we eventually settled on a dinosaur with a baseball head. Maisie fell in love.
Maisie got invited down onto the field to sing "take me out to the ball game" with all the other kids. Those little boys held her hand the whole time.
Maisie just had to play in the dirt/sand.
Yes she is now obsessed with baseball. I love her enthusiasm- the girl just loves to have fun.
Oh and yes she still talks about Crater.
