My little Valentine

This morning, Maisie and I woke up early to make heart shaped pancakes with boysenberry syrup (that combo reminds me of my childhood). After cleaning up breakfast  and painting our nails (a first for Maisie Moo, and her idea too) we headed to the store for some balloons, multi colored carnations and lollipops for a Valentine's Day photo shoot. The sun was out all morning long and as soon as we decided to go out and enjoy it, it started dodging behind clouds (of course). It still made for some decent pictures though.
